Meet the Team

Peter has 17 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working within the retail banking sector, and as an independent broker. During this journey Peter gained a wealth of knowledge, observed the markets, and provided expert advice to a variety of clients, enabling him to launch Opie & Associates in 2018. Opie & Associates is now directly authorised by the FCA, with access to lenders across the UK.

Outside of work, Peter can be found exploring the countryside, enjoying time at home with his family, or soaring through the skies as a qualified skydiver – having completed hundreds of jumps!

Andrew joined Opie & Associates in 2018 after working in retail banking for 7 years. Since joining he has been imperative in the ongoing success of the business, continuing to grow his knowledge though further financial qualifications.

Outside of work, Andrew spends most of his time with friends and family, whether that be running around with the children, or jumping out of planes with Peter, having become a qualified skydiver after 19 jumps.

Andrew has a keen eye for numbers and problem solving which makes him very thorough in his exploration of mortgage availability and always has a spreadsheet loaded.

Arranging mortgages for over 25 years, Michael joined Opie & Associates with a wealth of experience from working within a leading high street bank. As well as excellent market knowledge, Michael prides himself on excellent customer service and ensuring the client is kept fully informed throughout the mortgage process.

Outside of work, Michael can be found enjoying time at home with his family, or avidly completing DIY building projects around the home.
